Written and starring stand up Anuvab Pal The Empire is set in India in 1911 where callow District Magistrate James Albright is settling into his new job in Darjeeling. Assisted by his Indian right hand man Harbans and facing off with local British business titan Mrs Campbell, Albright is about to get his naïve ideas about Empire severely tested.
