So Awkward an iPlayer hit
As shooting gets underway on series 2, it has been great for the team to reflect on the huge popularity of the first series. From the outset the audience feedback for So Awkward was extremely positive – with the series maintaining and even improving on audience figures throughout the series. Audience response on the CBBC site was prolific and very enthusiastic, growing throughout the series, in particular the iPlayer requests, with a total of 6,812, 280 requests across the series, and the programme regularly appearing in the iPlayer top 5.
We hope that kids return to catch up with what Lily, Martha and Jaz have been up to when it is broadcast next year!
